Hello!
I purchased my computer last March/03. Its a HP Pavilion
734n which had Windows XP factory installed. I did not
get any CD-ROM boot or start-up discs. Do I need any???
I'm trying to make my own. Microsoft lists several
versions on their download lists such as 310994 and SP1
and SP1a all for the Home Edition. Which one do I use?

Thanks,
Herb

The difference between SP1 and SP1a is that the latter does not have
Microsoft's Java.
