Ok, this has got to be simple. I am writing an email and
all of a sudden as I go back to type something, I am
typing over all the words I've just written. I do not
have a OVR on the bottom of my screen. What is the trick
to stop my typing from overwriting the text I have just
written? Thanks for you help.

Sparky,
Did you by chance hit the Insert key on the keyboard thus turning it off?

Sorry for the double post folks. The first one errored out and said it
couldn't post it so I sent the second. Let's hope that is the end of it.

When that happens, try closing and then reopening Outlook Express. You may
have to do it more than once, however. If you find you need to do it more
than say two times, that would indicate a problem with the server; close OE
and wait for awhile.

Thanks Mike. I did try that but I only did it once. The error message
indicated the problem was with our brand new shiny server that was installed
over the weekend so I wasn't too surprised. I waited a few minutes to see if
the first one would eventually go through but apparently I didn't wait long
enough.
