I'm using WindowsXP SP1 plus MS OfficeXP. Many time the computer will lock
up (screen gabled or blank on som areas) when I scroll my mouse too fast, or
typing with keyboard too fast.
Mostly happended when I'm working in Excel, Word or IE 6.0 I tried to
install OfficeXP SP2, but same problem occured.
Today, I accidentally put the PC on stand-by mode with a 640x480 picture
(truecolor, 26KB JPEG) as a wallpaper, and when I turned the computer back
again, the computer locks up with garbled screen. I need to hard-reset the
system.
I'm using Compaq Evo N600C notebooks;
- Pentium III with XP Pro SP1 (build 2600)
- 384MB RAM
- ATI Mobility Radeon 32MB at 1024x768 with 32-bit color setting
- ATI video driver dated 2003/03/30 ver 6.14.10.6334
- Hitachi HDD 40GB (as primary) and 20MB as secondary
Anybody knows what happened?
