How could i rip a Video CD which is not recognised by a CD Drive?

Not recognized... do you mean the whole CD is not recognized or the
application you are using to play the VCD does not recognize that there is a
VCD file on it?
If the whole CD is not recognized, they it may indicate the files are
corrupted or the initial burn was bad.
Can you actually see the file(s) on the CD with Windows Explorer?

-- no,i couldn't actually see the file(s) on the CD with Windows Explorer
also.but it contails some video files which r played on a cd/dvd player......

Is the optical drive reading other CDs correctly?
