simply removing programs out of "add-remove programs"
doesn't get rid of all the program! when deleting a
particular item, write the name of the program down. this
goes for all the ones you have or will want to dump. then
go to start, search and type in each program one at a time
and let your computer find any residual programs
assotiated with them. after it finds anything, right
click on each and delete it. these go the recycle bin
where you will need to delete them there also. if you are
running xp you will need to delete prefetch files. go to
start, run and type in c:\windows\prefetch and ok. select
all and delete them. these are residual files left over
from websites you have visited. also you need to delete
cookies, temp files and history files. let me know if you
have problems with these steps. then there is a couple of
other things you will need to do to get your computer
speeded up, later paul
