MS article 307545, part one, says the first step is to
boot to the "Recovery Console." I have tried all of the
start options, with or without my installation CD and none
of them works. I can't boot to anything. I tried a McAfee
rescue disk in my A drive. That's the only thing my
computer responds to, but that did nothing to help my
problem. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Also, you have to set the CD-ROM as first boot device in Bios.
