My new laptop came with a CD/DVD drive. I didnt get any software CDs, it was
all on there already. CDs play fine but if I try to play a DVD, Windows Media
Player tells me to lower my screen resolution and colour quality settings,
but when I do this it still tells me the same thing. I dont get any message
about a decoder or anything, just a cant play DVD message. Could anyone help
me? I cant get help from my computer manufacturer because I dont live in the
UK or States.
Any help greatly appreciated, thanks.

Windows Media Player did not come with the ability to play DVDs. You must
buy a plugin; go here:
