Using s video to conect to tivo?

I want to play my videos from my comp. on my tivo so i can burn them. I have
an s video port on my laptop but I cannot get the video to come up on my tv.
anyone know what i am doing wrong?

You'll need to set up youre tv as "the monitor" for youre system,then
record.Windows media home page/downloads,locate the exihibitor pro utility,
the software is for dual monitors.
