I have Windows XP Professional. I cannot install SP1
because my system locks up at the Windows splash screen,
after the SP1 install. The problem I am having now is
after connecting to the Window Update site (even without
updating anything) I cannot close IE and the PC locks up.
I then have to powerdown the system.
