When windows messenger is started, it starts automatically with an
accountname. I want to remove this account, so it will not start with the
accountname anymore. All passwords need to be removed as well. how do I do
this?
When clicking on the messenger icon, it starts automaticaly from that
account. I don't want that. I want the account from windows messenger
removed, so that when I start windows messenger, it will not automaticaly
start from that account. I would like to type in account and password when I
start windows messenger.

Greetings,
The quickest way to get what you want is to download and run the following .reg file:
http://messenger.jonathankay.com/downloads/disablenetcreds.reg
You'll need to reboot to see the change.

So this will remove the account on which windows messenger automatically
starts up? What files do I need to back up before starting the .reg file?
All I need to do is press on the file and then reboot pc?

Hi,
You don't need to backup anything, this just stops .NET Passports from being saved or used.

But after that, I would still like to use automatic sign in, or remember
accountname, just using another account. Will that still be possible?
