Hello, this is my first post on this site...hope someone
can help! I downloaded a few files from a site that has
different colorful screensavers etc...and I cant seem to
open or use them. I have downloaded different files from
alot of sites, that all work. But these are different,
they are called "Win32 Cabinet Self-extractor" from the
microsoft corperation. The logo next to the file is an
open box, with a small color screen in back of it. When
I went to open it, it says it was "extracting" the files
somewhere. And I remember it saying that I needed to
open it with a different file. I dont know,

Please someone help! Thank you

Hello Jaime and welcome aboard. Can you get the complete name of that =
file? Is it named ".cab" at the end? or ".exe" or ".scr" ?
What was the site's name ?
As to your last part ---- Can you remember or reproduce the exact =
message?
