I can't play my videos on WMP. The sound works, thats it. When I try to edit,
a message comes up telling me to unistall some codec but I don't know what
it's talking about. Somebody please help me.

If their file extension is AVI, then they are probably DIVX and/or XVID
files and you need the appropriate codecs. www.divx.com and
www.xvidmovies.org is the place to go for the correct codecs IF that is what
they were encoded with.... and you can find out exactly which codec was used
by downloading and installing G-Spot Codec identifier from
http://www.headbands.com/gspot and then analyzing the files concerned.
