I want to save some of the items posted here
and up till now I have done this by a
copy/paste into Word2003.
I could just move the items into a new folder
in OE but I wonder if the items will expire
there just as they do here?
Please help, Frank

No problem.
Just create a folder (or folders) in the Email section of OE (not in the
NewsServer section)
Mine is under
Local Folders
Categories
Under this I have many folders for different aspects
e.g.
FP/CSS/JScript
CSS rules
FP Resources
JS Syntax
Windows XP
Backup
to quote just a few
You just drag the post to the relevant folder. This copies it to that
folder - it does not delete it from the NewsServer section
But when you do delete a post from the NewsServer section, it remains in the
folder to which you copied it. Some of mine are years old

Good luck,
