auto. updates?

I have downloaded and installed (successfully, according
to my "Windows update history")the most recent, and only,
Critical Update I lacked (811493).
Yet, whenever I connect, auto update says I need it,
also, out of curiosity, when I visit Windows update
website, sure enough it still says I lack this update.
The website even has TWO successful updates logged for me
with this same number.
What's going on here?
