I am having a simular problem on my system P4 3.06Ghz 1G
Ram system. tcpip services is using 50% Processor
Utilization time. I have seen several simular problems on
different windows websites with no answers the catch 22
is the vendors are blaming no one is reporting problems
and they wont request help from microsoft. Microsoft wont
answer the questions directly so I am trying message
boards if you get an answer let me know.

I've had the same trouble with a shuttle mobo @athlon
XP1700. Sent the mobo back and switched out all the parts
with the same results. Specifically, after a reboot, the
system would load very slowly. Task manager show 100% cpu
usage. Device manager show the procesor speed cut in half
down to 767 mhz. This problem was right out of the box and
I still have no answer. I am suspecting that it may be a
chip problem in the (at that time) new Via 333 mhz chip.
Maybe I'll try a chip fan or a new mobo.
