MSOffice 97 Pro uninstall

I am using Windows XP Pro. I installed MSoffice 97 Pro
on Win XP and now I want to remove MSOffice 97 from my
computer. In "add/remove" I cannot get it to remove the
program from my computer. I have followed instructions
every time they are given, nothing works.
How can I get this program to remove from my computer?
Please help me. Collinsworth
