msvc32i MFC

This computer(Dell p4) has not been used for several
months, when I boot up I get the following error
message"msvc32i MFC has encountered a problem and will be
shut down" I have not noticed any problems (at least not
yet) with the computer. Any clues what caused the problem,
or how to fix it? This happened on the first boot last
week and on each one after. After I closed the error
message on the second boot,I installed all updates from
Microsoft.
