Hi there,

Recently I have been bugged by this behavior of windows
XP. My taskbar is unable to display and icon/group that I
am running in the windows. When I unlock the taskbar and
try to squeeze it out, nothing. I can only display
language, quicklaunch, windows media player, etc. But my
programs are no where to see.

However, when I create another user, the taskbar works
normally. I have reinstall service pack 1, update all the
patch but nothing fix it. Restore is not an option since
I disabled it long time ago.

Occasionally, the taskbar will back to normal after I
have done a chkdsk/f during reboot. It has gone bad after
another restart.

I was try not to migrate my current user directory to
another because there are too many settings I have to
carry over.

Any idea, folks. I am really desperate now.
