loosing hard disc space after using system restore

About the time of the Blaster worm and patch last week, I
used System Restore after noticing one half to one gig
loss on hard drive. Have tried Disc Cleanup and Defrag
with no luck. Does anyone know how to reverse this loss
of space, what caused it, etc. Please help!!!

Did you try to deleting all restore points except the current one? In the
disk cleanup utility, pick the "More Options" tab. At the botttom, pick
"System Restore, You can free more disk space by removing all but the most
recent restore point.".
