Disk cleanup

I recently went to us the disk cleanup utitlity and the
progress meter immediately goes up 3 bars and stops. The
program does not freeze or glitch it just stops doing
anything. Can you give me a disk cleanup reinstall for
windows xp. This is assuming I have to reinstall disk
cleanup.
