I used to have two monitors attached to my PC on a ATI Radeon 9800, when I
got the 360 I used the larger one with a VGA cable. My brother co-erced me
into moving the 360 to the TV. I just recently reconnected my larger monitor
back to the PC. However now when ever the machine boots up I get no login
screen.
The monitor acts like it is the secondary monitor instead of the primary,
you can move the mouse into the area where the primary would be.
I have to unplug the second monitor, boot, login, replug and activate.
I suspect the problem has something to do with the following.
Pre-360 :
Sony - Primary
KTX - Secondary
Post-360 :
KTX - Primary
Post-Brother-Playing-Oblivion-on TV
Sony - Primary
KTX - Secondary
Just thought then, I might try switching the monitors over on the card and
if it works, moving the desktop over to the other monitor. Didn't bother
asking ATI you seem to get more help at the better end of town :)
And yes I have the latest drivers ;)
