Temp Internet Files

When I was using Win 95 I could periodically clean out the
Cookies, History and Temp Internet Files.

I recently received Win XP with my new Dell PC

After surfing the Web through the AOL ISP I looked to
delete my cookies, and temp files and could not find
anything to delete. Where did all that information go?
I'm concerned because of performance issues that may arise
by not deleting these files.
