uncompressing and playing rar files

what software do I need to uncompress and play rar files, I have Windows
Media Player 10 installed.

Well you can use WinRAR (www.rarlabs.com) to uncompress them but as to what
software you need to play them, that rather depends on what you have when
you uncompress them! They could be anything.

So uncompres them and then let us know.
