typing bug

hi
in either outlook, wordpad, notepad, or word.... often
times my cursor will jump 'up' to the sentence/s above or
the cursor will jump 'back' in the same sentence.

it even did it 'here'! jumping up to the the middle of
the sender's field

i just installed xp pro on a new hard drive. This is a
Toshiba laptop. I never experienced this bug before

please help

Open XP's "Help and Support" and type: TEXT SERVICES , and hit enter.
Then click on "Turn text services off or on". You need to turn-off text =
services.

Do you have a touchpad? Sometimes a touchpad will read your hand sliding
over it and make the cursor jump unexpectedly.
