I have a Sony DCR-TRV140E-PAL Digital Handycam. The software that came with
will only allow 400Meg files to be saved, can get sound and video.
Enter Nero 6 packaged with DVD R/W very jerky video.

Next? WMM good video but no sound I have tried all input settings available
to no avail.

HELP!!!!

Your particular Cam is Digital8 format.
The *software* that came with the Sony? -
I am unaware of any Sony branded digital8
video capture/editing software?
How are you connecting it to PC?
Are you connecting via USB? Or the analog
connections?
Have you tried via ilink/Firewire?

Sounds like you are trying to capture via a USB cable (which results in an
analog video) on a digital camcorder which should be connected to your PC
via firewire. Then you can use Windows Movie Maker or one of the Nero
applications.
