hi guys!

when i boot up my machine, recently its gets to the xp
screen(where the bar loads accross) and foes to a blue
screen which reads something like

"unmountable boot volume"

or something

if you keep restarting eventually it gets past it and is
fine

any ideas?

jon

sounds like a hardware fault.

you might want to go and see someone about getting your hard disk cloned and
replaced.

From the sound of it, you have a hardware failure in the works. Either the
HD controller or the HD itself. Start taking backups, if haven't already and
see about getting some one to look at the machine.
