As DVD burning software, I first used DVD Shrink, lately, I've taken to using
Nero Recode 2. What happens frequently is that my copied DVDs lock up after
just a few screenings. When I run Nero testdrive on them, the results
invariably show damaged or bad sectors. What is odd, though, is that the
sectors marked as bad or damaged are different from one pass to the next and
from one drive to the next. I would appreciate it if anyone could clarify
this situation and propose a solution since it is quite troublesome and
expensive to keep on recopying DVDs.
