Messenger Live! 8.0.0792.00... and I'm having an issue with the
"personal message" feature. Specifically, it won't save any changes. I
can change the quote in there, and it will be good (and visible from my
contacts' side - I've checked) but whenever I log off and then back in -
due to disconnection, shutting down for the night, whatever - it's back
to what I'd had originally.
I was able to blank it by removing the cachefiles for Messenger, but
after that, I added a new message. That became the "locked one" and I
have been unable to successfully change it the way it ought to be
since.. without deleting the cachefile all over again.
Any suggestions...anyone? (To clarify a point, the "This is a shared
computer so don't save..." option is UNCHECKED... and everything else
saves correctly)
