Does any body know if it is possible to copy all installed
updates to a CD. Then after Reformatting the drive and
installing XP again, installing the updates from CD to
save the hours involved in downloading the updates
again !!!

Hi
You can't backup the updates already installed. You can however =
manually download them and then burn them to a CD via:
http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/en/default.asp?corporate=3Dtrue

After your PC is done and updated and virus free....do a image back up with
Norton Ghost 2003 or other imaging program.
