I recently upgraded from ME to XP Home. Now, all too
often, when I am on line the information within the
window begins to scroll iradically making me try to time
my mouse clicks before the scrolling makes its "jump"
moves. If I move my mouse outside of the window the
scrolling stops. But the second the mouse enters he
active window the scrolling begins. The longer I try to
fight this condition the worse it gets (or so it seems).
The only cure I have been able to come up with is to shut
down and restart. And even doing this is a real chore as
the system usually will lock up during the shut down
process. It sounds like there is a problem between my
mouse and the system. Any thoughts or suggestions? Thank
you in advance. The mouse is the mouse that came with my
computer - IBM Net Vista.
