We recently purchased a new computer running Windows XP
Home. We installed Windows XP Pro. The computer is
networked. This computer takes forever to start up. It
is also slow opening programs and doing anything else we
ask it to do. The computer has a 80 GB HD and 256 MB of
RAM. What can we do to speed things up? I've already
gone to msconfig to delete some start-up files, so
suggestions other than that will be helpful.
