My computer will not start - my computer accidently
experienced loss of electricity and now I can't start my
computer. When the computer is turned on, I get the
following message:

"Windows could not start because the following file is
missing or corrupt:

\windows\system32\conf ig\SYSTEM

You can attempt to repair this file by starting Windows
Set-up using the original set-up CD-ROM"

We have tried running CHKDSK/ R
and also tried Reinstall

Neither of the above worked. I have some digital photos
on the hard drive, which are not backed-up. (Lesson
learned) - but can anyone help?
