I get an error message whenever I try to import my .ASF files (which are also
window media/audio files with attributes of "read-only" checked) into movie
maker that tells me the file is not indexed.
I looked at previous messages involving this problem and downloaded a Codec
45 and some "Encoder 9" from microsoft. I am now getting error messages
left and right saying Media Center Receiver Service encountered a problem and
needs to shut down...AND my movies still aren't transferring:(
