Ok. I just got a new computer and I just found out that when I tried playing
any kind of video on my PC using Media Software such as iTunes and Windows
Media Player 9.. the video does not show up... but the audio remains to play.
And also, I have the nVidia control panel and when I go to the edit video
color and settings... it is suppose to display a test image so you can see
what your video will look like...Well the image doesn't display at all. What
could possibly be going wrong? I have no error messages at all.

Try downloading the Windows XP Codec pack here:
http://www.free-codecs.com/
Also check nVidia's website to see if they have updated their drivers
recently.

I'm having the same problem on my PC. With every single video file, the sound
works, but the screen is black. I've tried downloading all sorts of
codecs/players and checking my video card, but there seems to be no errors.

The first clue in many cases is: "I've tried downloading all sorts of
codec's/players"
Many codec's out there cause problems so when I am trying to troubleshoot
video problems such as these ones the very first thing I ALWAYS suggest is
to open WMM and disable all the codec's. Then close and reopen Movie Maker
then try importing.
