How do I install a windows XP version? I checked, and it's Adaptec Direct
CD Wizard. I found instructions to close out a CD-R disk, but not the
CD-RW, which is what I used... Thanks again for your help! :-)

You should get the latest Nero and EZCD 6.0 to have them work on XP.
When you finalize a disc it should not matter if it is a CD-R or CD-RW

cd-rw written with Direct CD can be read without installing any software,
the udf reader is automatically written to each cd in the original
formatting.
Packet written cd-r (to my knowledge only supported by roxio direct cd)
cannot be read this way. However, you can download isobuster which I believe
will show what is on the cd. To retrieve the contents, you'll have to
upgrade to the registered version. This little utility is well worth having
anyway. Since I am using the registered version I can't be entirely sure
what the unregistered version will show for a udf cd-r.

Thanks Dave. I'll look into the isobuster. My computer with XP definitely
is NOT reading files on RW disks that I saved on a computer with Win 98 SE.
This has been very frustrating, but I appreciate everyone's help.
