Ping Attacks

Are people receiving as many ping attacks as I am? My
firewall log is going nuts.

I have scanned for spyware (ad-aware 6.181) and viruses
and am clean, but every time I log on, within a minute I
get constant pings.

Anybody else having this problem?

John, Did you ever get to the bottom of this? I started getting many
pings (several per minute) from various addresses. This started on
8/17/2003 and has continued ever since. I have ZoneAlarm Pro and it
logs each ping attempt (ZA blocks and does not respond). I wondered
if it was something I did on said day, or if it was the blaster worm,
which I think appeared on the scene about that time.

Anybody??
