Seems to be a common problem because many have posted to
tell me they are experiencing it too but I have recieved
no solutions...........My CPU usage is 100% even though I
have the min # of processes running. The System process in
task manager is
taking up all the resources of the cpu. This has been
happening for a couple of months and if I restore to an
earlier date it resets to the normal systen idle holding
the resources until the cpu is needed elsewhere. But
after a few days it reverts back to the 100% cpu usage by
the system process. This makes the system run terrible,
obviously. Windows XP running Computer associates EZ
antivirus that is up to date and scanned.
Please help.
