Try insalling XP with just minmum installed
components;hard drive,cd drive,video.Let Windows find
drivers for those items.Once windows is installed,see how
it opperates than add one component/program at a
time.Also make sure you install service pack 1(sp1)from
microsoft,it has the drivers needed for usb2.I would also
suggest to run check disk....good luck.
