U have an hp ze120 notebook, it hs xp w/ service pack 1.
When I right click on a file and scroll to send to my cdrw
drive will not show up, desktop, my briefcace, my
documents etc. show up but no cdrw. I just restored my
system realoaded sp1 and same thing. I know my hardware
is ok because I burnt a cd thgroug media player. But I
want to be able to send files to my cdrw as I please.
I've been to windows knowlege base, no luck been to hp's
support site, no new updates. What's up? I've used
plenty of other xp machines and did this, it's a pretty
basic function. Any recomendations?

You need to enable "Show all files and folders" in Control Panel->Folder
Options->View Tab
then place a shortcut in your SendTo folder to C:\Documents and
Settings\<logon user>\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\CD Burning.
This is the location that XP copies files to for burning prior to informing
you that you must evoke the "Write files to CD" function
