My CP had the blaster. I went to Win update and updates
would not install to my CP. I realized then that
automatic updates had stopped in April.
Around that time period my son installed DAP and a popup
stopper and I downloaded a program called SPY NUKER I
don't think I ever installed it but I didn't remove it
until last night. Jim from one of these chat groups
suggested I remove repository folders ..\system32\wbem
after telling him I did a net diagnostic which said WMI
error can not connect to WMI Service '\root\cimv2'.
This morning I ran ultra winclean 2000 cleaned everything
I knew how to clean which removed that file or folder but
nothing has worked; oh another person told me to select
the MS site to be a trusted site in internet options
which did not help either. Any suggestions?
