can i speed up my computer by adding more virtual memory?

What does virtual memory do anyway?

if i use a 4th HD for all virtual memory does it help or
do i only have to use virtual memory on the HD with Win
XP installed on

i do alot of video editing i have a AMD XP 2800+ with 1.5
gigs of ram pc 2700 with 3 120G HD

Not Found
The requested URL /win5/a/xpvm.htm was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to
use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Oh, yeah that helped immensely!

Jim had some problems with that server last night. Try the URL again now.
