i386 folder is hiding

When I first got my computer (Dell) with Windows XP Home
there was a directory on the C drive called "i386".
It's still there but I can't see it in Windows Explorer.
I've set the view to show hidden files, system fies and
all extentions.
Why is it hiding from me?

The i386 Folder which is on the WinXP CD is probably hidden on a
separate partition since it holds most of your
Recover files. But e-mail Dell and see what they say.
