I CAN'T FIND BACKUP ANYWHERE ON MY COMPUTER. I CAN'T FIND
IT WITH SEARCH EITHER. I'M NOT NEW TO WINDOWS - I WENT
THROUGH 3.1, 95, AND 98. I'M NEW TO XP HOME.
HELP! PLEASE.

The Backup Utility is not installed by default on XP Home. If you have a
retail copy of XP Home it's installer program is located in the ValueAdd
directory. Some OEM CDs do not include it.

Go to the valueadd\msft\ntbackup folder on the XP Home Edition cd and
install ntbackup manually by double clicking the file.

Backup is installed automatically on XP Professional, but not on
XP Home. If you have the complete XP Home CD, find backup on the
CD, in \ValueAdd\MSFT\NTBACKUP and install it yourself.

Also see http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=302894

And please don't yell at us. We can hear you if you type
normally, in mixed case.
