This will sound odd but, here goes...
When I installed SP1, after it rebooted, I signed onto my
admin account and the desktop wallpaper appeared but the
whole thing just froze: No icons, no taskbar, nothing. I
had to cold boot it. When I logged back into the admin
account, everything took a while to load. I opened
Outlook Express and it took a while longer to pull down my
mail. Everything else was generally acting jerky. As
time has gone by, however, things have slowly returned to
normal. I have no explanation for it whatsoever.
