View Full Version : Cannot connect to file system

For the last few days I've been getting an Error Box near
the end of a bootup. There's about a 15 sec pause then
the error comes up saying: " Cannot connect to file system,
service not running."
I click OK and the boot finishes with no other apparent
problems ensuing.
Running XP Home, 2.4G, 512Ram, 120G HD.
Annoying!

Bingo!
I had found this about an hour ago by unchecking boxes one at
a time in Msconfig. Definitely INCD. Why it suddenly started
doing this I don't know. I'm going to try an earlier version of
INCD tomorrow.

Version 4.017 has this as an acknowledged bug.
Version 4.010 seems to be OK.
