Failed Updates Question!

[MBT]

found the following entry (several times) in windows
update.log:

2003-08-25 21:12:57 03:12:57 Error IUENGINE
Querying software update catalog from
https://a248.e.akamai.net/v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/g
etmanifest.asp (Error 0x800C0005)

Anyone have any idea what is causing this?

I was having the same problems with Windows Update, and
discovered that the a248.e.akamai.net server was included in
my HOSTS file and was being blocked. Removing that HOSTS
entry allowed me to use Update again.
