I have a ATI Radeon 7500 display adapter with a built in TV tuner . The tuner
use to work fine. But now when I try to launch TV I get a error message
saying to check my video driver under device manager and see if it working
properly. When checked it showed that is working properly. Have tried to
update drivers at the ATI site, nothing has work so far. Also tried to update
drivers at Microsoft. This did not work ether. Anyone have any idea on how to
fix this problem? Oh by the way everything else with the ATI Multimedia
Center worls fine. Just no video for TV.

I believe there's a complete uninstall utility at the ATI website and this
might help.
Do you mean your card is the All in Wonder 7500 Radeon? Or that it's a
graphics card with VIVO capability?

My card is the All in Wonder 7500 Radeon. It has dual monitor support. As
stated every thing works but the tuner. It just all of a sudden quit.

Try an earlier version of the MMC.

Thanks for the info. Tried the repair wizard under add remove program. That
did not work. Then completely removed MMC from the computer. This did not
work ether. I'm beginning to think it is not the the ATI card at all. This is
the error message I get.
The TV player failed to initialize the video
Check the windows device manager to insure that the correct video diver is
installed and working properly before attempting to restart TV.
I've been told that I can find the driver for the video under display
adapters in device manager. Is this so? if so it shows the ATI radeon 7500
installed.Properties says it is working fine. Tried updating the driver
anyway, it says the best driver for it is already installed. Under sound,
video and game controllers is the video driver supposed to here? if so how do
I know which one to check? The ATI site has been absolutely no help. Thanks
again for your help.

Under Video and Game Controllers you should have an entry that is for WDM
drivers.... Yes? No?

There is no WDM driver listed. How do I install one and where can I get the
driver?

At the ATI website. www.ati.com Because the 7500 Radeon is no longer
supported, you'll be in the archive section.
