I recently uninstalled Norton Antivirus in order to
reinstall it, but when i rebooted like it asked me to, I
got nothing. I logged on fine, except when it got into
it, there was no desktop or taskbar. The only thing i can
see is the wallpaper.
I can still use my computer, using the task manager to
run programs and stuff, but i cant do anything to fix the
problem. Explorer.exe is running, that was my first guess
as to what would be wrong. I can still access all my
files and programs and everything.
I have also noticed that in the control panel, the task
bar and start menu control does not work. and right
clicking on the wallpaper does not work either.
All the user names on my computer are having this problem.
Any help would be a godsend.

Hi Fredd
Have you tried performing a system restore? It might be an easy way to
return your system to before you removed Nortons.
Cheers

Line 195 (right column) "Restore Desktop Icons and
Taskbar"
Install the fix, then reboot your computer.
