I use WindowsXP and all of a sudden my OLEXP6 is taking
forever to load when I click on any of my icons to open
it.
I've looked around and saw something about a pstore.log
file....I don't have one. I then saw advice on deleting a
registry key then typing in
c:\windows\system\pstores.exe -install into the MS-DOS
prompt screen. When I did that I got a bad command, batch
file or something error...whatever it was, but bottom
line is it didn't work.
I even looked in my windows\system folder and don't even
see that pstores.exe file there.
Anything else I could try? I'm stumped and getting
frustrated.
