When try to get updates for Roxio Media Creator 7,
getting message:

"Failed to load XML data from file.
XML document must have a top level element".

Had to reinstall Roxio and never had problem with
Updater before or ever seen such a message. Can't
understand the tech info read on this via google search
and have no idea what means or how to resolve.
Further advice would be much appreciated.

Tx for prompt reply. I assumed wrongly was a WinXP problem
as recently did clean install and had never had problem updating
Roxio before. On checking link you provided, see that many others
recently getting same error message and is a Roxio problem.
Now getting updates directly from their website.
